we had a lunch discussion over which were the smartest and dumbest veggies ; brussels sprouts and potatoes i think the consensus was
[ secretly though, i think carrots are smarter ] but the most mysterious vegetable ? definitely baby corn ; their taste is very faint and indistinct
i need to eat several in quick succession just to register its taste properly, and of course there is the question
that just stares you in the face — why do they look so much like corn ??
